She enjoys working with both children and adults looking to overcome limitations impacting their ability to live a full life, whether rooted in physical, cognitive, and/or emotional causes.

Story:

My story will probably sound familiar if you are a parent to a child who has struggled in the area of growth and development. Before becoming a parent, my life was immersed in the arts. From a very young age I worked professionally in the entertainment industry as a child actor and dancer. If I wasn’t on set or on the stage, I was in a dance class moving my body. Due to my unique experiences, I became fascinated with how differently each of us move, think, and express ourselves. Later that fascination would move into the area of development and neuroscience.

As my first born began to age, I noticed differences in his development that eventually landed us with an autism diagnosis. In the process of doctor appointments and specialist referrals, I started questioning why there were so many well-meaning people only looking at certain aspects of my child. Everyone seemed to be looking to give him skills to deal with his limitations but not getting to the root of the matter. I began to read anything I could get my hands on that explained the process of how we develop and what is necessary to help an individual become their own agency of positive change and brain development. In that quest I found the Anat Baniel Method, and quickly everything I had learned to date made sense.

Amber is excited to work with both families and individuals using her skill set as both a mother of a special needs child and her studies with Anat. Her goal is to support development and growth, not only with her expertise in ABM, but also by helping her clients and their families use the principles and nine essentials in their everyday life to continue seeing improvement, even after lessons.
