FAQ

We’re new to the Anat Baniel Neuro-Movement® Method. How many lessons would you recommend to start?

The best way to get started as a new client would be to take advantage of our New Client Introductory Package. This includes an initial consultation lasting 50 minutes, split into a 25 minute lesson  and a 25 minute sit down session with caregivers to go over the fundamentals of the process and answer any questions that come up. The package also includes two additional lessons of 40 minutes each. These would be scheduled within the same week in order to take advantage of momentum of the lessons, as well as accelerating the bond between practitioner and student.

How long are sessions?

.Each therapy session is 40 minutes long. The actual hands-on work varies based on the attention span of the student. ABM is a learning-based modality; therefore, the session ends when the learning stops. For each learner, that is different, based on what they are able to take in at any given moment. The time remaining would be used as a coaching opportunity, working with caregivers/client on how to support the learning between lessons.

Is there anything special I need to do before or after the lessons to increase the benefits?

Because this is a learning method, there are a few things you can do to support the process. Making sure the student is well rested, fed, and in comfortable clothes are wonderful ways to support and prepare. Most students need food, rest, and an opportunity to play/integrate directly after a lesson. I encourage caregivers and students to refrain from screentime for the first thirty minutes after, to give the brain time to integrate the learning without feeling overstimulated.

What payment methods do you accept?

I currently accept cash, Venmo, Paypal, and Zelle. I'm a vendor for the Regional Center's Self Determination Program.

Payment is due at the end of the last lesson of an intensive.
